Description
Class Experience
In the fast-paced world we live in, the ability to effectively manage time is crucial. By utilizing tools like Google Calendar, students can cultivate a sense of structure, routine, and autonomy in their daily lives. Our comprehensive lesson is designed to guide students with disabilities through the process of using Google Calendar, fostering essential time management skills. With a highly structured approach, visual prompts, and ample opportunities for repetition, the lesson is scaffolded...
I use Google Calendar as my main planning tool. As a person with ADHD, it is invaluable to me to have my events color-coded. I use it to plan, create task lists, and even designate when we are having dinner (6 p.m. CST) on our family calendar.
Learners must have a Google Account to have access to Google Calendar. The class will not be as meaningful if the student is using only a paper calendar.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Google Calendar is an online calendar tool for saving calendars to a daily, weekly, or monthly format. Google requires its users to be 13 years or older. It is free to use with an attached Google Account. If you need help creating a google account, send me your question and I will guide you through that process. Google account information will not be shared.
Students must have a Google account to access the Google calendar.
