Beginner Level
In Mastering the Art of Writing, we’ll cover the essentials of organizing ideas for clear and creative writing. Topics include: The structure of a paragraph Brainstorming and idea generation Creating outlines and story maps Structuring stories with a beginning, middle, and end Writing strong introductions and conclusions The class is structured around fun and interactive lessons that combine instruction, practice, and creativity. I’ll teach using a mix of engaging activities, including guided brainstorming sessions, story-building games, and visual aids like story maps and graphic organizers. Students will write their own five paragraph essay throughout the entirety of the course. My teaching style is hands-on and supportive, encouraging plenty of interaction and participation. You'll be involved through games, group discussions, and even short video clips to illustrate key concepts. I’ll provide feedback and support as you work, making sure each student gets the help they need to succeed and express their ideas with confidence. Expect lots of opportunities for collaboration, question-asking, and sharing your work with the class!

Students should have basic background on how to write a complete sentence/paragraph.
