Description

Class Experience

This class is an immersive experience for young artists who would like to learn to draw realistic people using a number of different techniques and materials. All of the materials needed will be listed below in the materials section. Each week, we will meet and prepare for specific artwork and subject matter and will then spend numerous class periods to thoroughly complete the work to satisfaction. Students will be taught to develop storng observational skills to better improve detail work....

Students should have plenty of time to finish work in class. If this is not the case for some projects. Students will be encouraged to finish work outside of class.

-Sketch book. I will be working with a sketchbook that is 14"x17" but you are welcome to use a different size.
-Black or blue ball point pens.
-Felt tip pens. I will be working with Micron pens.
-Charcoal pencils as well as sticks.
-Regular pencils.
-Colored pencils.
-Optional: white charcoal.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
