Learners will review and master foundational pre-algebra and geometry skills.
**GAIL ENCERRADO** Gail is a highly skilled math teacher from El Paso, Texas who is bilingual in English and Spanish. With over 20 years of experience teaching in-person and online, Gail has developed a passion for teaching English and Spanish language, literacy, and math classes through high-interest activities, like: cooking, baking, crafts, and life skills focused classes. Gail holds a B.A. in Linguistics from University of Texas, a TESOL certification, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education. She is experienced in teaching students of all ages, and has worked extensively with children with autism. Her teaching philosophy centers around developing strong student rapport and personalized learning experiences to maximize student achievement. —————————————————— **COURTNEY GORDON** Courtney is a fantastic, highly qualified teacher who lives in Portland, Oregon. She has had over 15 years of experience teaching a variety of subjects to preschool and elementary students, including: ESL, reading, writing, and math. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from University of Portland, a Master's degree in Education from Lewis & Clark College, and teaching licenses in PreK-6th, ESOL, and reading. Courtney's energy is infectious and she's had the opportunity to teach in public and private schools with the youngest of our English learners. Courtney is especially passionate about math and literacy, and has a special knack for making learning rigorous, but FUN!
