Description
Class Experience
This is a flex course designed to strengthen students' understanding of the format of a paragraph and translating that into essay writing. Students will learn the fundamentals of paragraph writing through the writing process. You will LOVE writing after taking this class! Class Recordings will be posted in the classroom and are to be watched after watching the week's corresponding video in "Mastering Paragraph and Essay Writing". Each week's assignment will have a key focus that coincides...
Students will improve their writing skills through meaningful assignments. The culminating writing piece will allow students to showcase their writing skills.
Ms. Peters is a highly effective teacher who has taught grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Ms. Peters also has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. Writing is one of her favorite subjects to teach.
This class has no live meetings, but students will be expected to complete the assignments given. Approximately 1 - 2 hours each week should be used to work on assignments.
Paper, pencil, and handouts provided by the instructor.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
