Students will be taught how organization can help with academics and being successful. They'll be taught the definition of a habit and how habits can be used to stay organized. Additionally, each student will create their own action plan to organize something in their life. The topics that will be covered are the habit process, strategies for organization, and how to keep up with a new routine. Students will be taught to use the following strategy: Stop. This class is taught in English.
Students will be taught how organization can help with academics and being successful. They'll be taught the definition of a habit and how habits can be used to stay organized. Additionally, each student will create their own action plan to organize something in their life.
Complete their action plan.
Journal or paper for writing down action plan.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This is an interactive class and will require a working mic, mouse, and camera. Students will receive a link at the beginning of class to the lesson. They do not need to download anything nor create a username. They will be asked to input their first name and then will be given instructions on what to do next. Parental guidance may be needed to log onto the platform. They will still be in the zoom meeting at the same time. If they prefer, they are welcome to use 2 separate devices to connect to the zoom meeting and the lesson, but this is not necessary.
Nearpod.com will be used to showcase pictures, videos, and questions.
