Students will learn essential concepts, such as the staff, clef signs, note values, time signatures, and measures, while gaining skills to read and interpret sheet music. What Topics Will You Cover? • The Staff • Clef Signs (Treble and Bass) • Line and Space Names for Notes • Musical Notation: Notes and Rests • Note Values (Whole, Half, Quarter, and Eighth Notes) • Time Signatures and Measures • Practical Exercises and Comprehensive Reviews How Is Your Class Structured? • 10-Week Fixed-Length Course: One session per week, each lasting 35 minutes. • Each lesson builds on the previous one, ensuring students grasp foundational concepts before moving on to more advanced topics. • The first 5 weeks introduce new topics, while weeks 6 and 10 are dedicated to interactive reviews to reinforce learning.
