Mastering Multiplication the Easy Way: With Songs, Tricks, & Tips For Facts 0-12
In this weekly math flex class, learners will be introduced to multiplication and learn the facts through songs, tips, tricks and by using their fingers. We will learn the multiplication facts through 12.

Multiplication...it can be a pain. It can be hard to conquer. But does it have to be hard? Nope! With a few songs, tricks, and tips you will know those multiplication facts before you can count to a million (or maybe a little faster)! We will start out easy in week one with the facts for 0, 1 and 2 and by week nine you will know all the facts through 12. We will use our fingers, learn some songs, use paper and pencil to write some tricks, and have lots of fun along the way. Each week will do a quick review of previously learned multiplication families and then move to the lesson for the week, learning a new family. In the beginning we will learn the easy families quickly and then move on to the more difficult ones learning just one family per week. Once I introduce the new family I will practice with you and then give you a few to try yourself, asking you to pause the video and then restart to see if you are correct. Each video will be available so you are able to watch it multiple times until you are feeling confident. You will want to have paper and pencil or a white board available but we will not use it often. There are a few tricks that are easier if you are able to write them as I also write them. Each week we will play a game on MatchtheMemory.com to try to beat a specific times score. This is entirely optional but will help reinforce what we are learning. Here is our schedule: Week One: 0, 1, and 2 Week Two: 5, 10 and 11 Week Three: 3 Week Four: 4 Week Five: 6 Week Six: 7 Week Seven: 8 Week Eight: 9 Week Nine: 12
