Beginner Level
Math requires hands-on learning, especially when children are learning a new concept. In this review of place value and teaching of the concept of borrowing. We will use manipulatives to help learners grasp the important concept of place value and show how that relates to borrowing. This will be followed by learning two-digit borrowing. We will continue to progress to more difficult borrowing concepts.

Place Value
Review of place value through hundreds place; subtraction of numbers to hundreds place with no borrowing 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Basic Borrowing
Beginning of borrowing using visuals and beginning with tens and ones 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Borrowing to Hundreds
Borrowing from tens to give to ones and from hundreds to tens 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Borrowing With Zeros
Borrowing when zeros are part of the equation 25 mins online live lesson
Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Basic subtraction skills are helpful before beginning the bootcamp.
Supply List
Paper and pencil or white board and marker will be needed for each class. If your child is completing optional homework, you will need access to a printer.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
