Class Recordings will be posted in the classroom and are to be watched after watching the week's corresponding video in "Mastering the Five-Paragraph Essay". Each week's essay will have a key grammatical focus that coincides with the particular essay.

Each lesson will have a mini-lecture with practice for students as well as applicable teaching they can use for their essays. In addition, there will be required discussion questions that students will need to respond to between the entire class which encourages student-to-student interaction using the classroom comments. Learners will apply their knowledge of grammar through revision of their essays and submit for feedback to me before submitting to Teacher Jade. See a sample schedule attached.

Each week will also have several mystery challenge questions that learners are encouraged to participate in. Learners will have a character on a game board and will be able to see themselves moving towards mastery each week. This is a fun way to interact with other students in the class even though the course is a Flex class.
