In this ongoing class designed for 3rd and 4th graders, learners will master essential skills in English Language Arts to become proficient with new vocabulary, grammar, communication, pronunciation, writing, spelling, speaking and listening. Over 50 weeks of lessons will cover vocabulary, grammar, spelling, synonyms, antonyms, similes, metaphors, figurative language, plural nouns, irregular verbs, word families, prefixes, suffixes & more! Nearpod is a digital tool that uses slide-based learning resources that are interactive for students to engage with and learn from. Each learner will access their own set of Nearpod slides to participate in the lesson by completing fill in the blank questions, matching activities, multiple choice questions, drawing tasks, responding to open ended prompts and quiz games. Nearpod can also use gamification of information to make learning more engaging and fun.
