Mastering Division: Become Confident With the Bus Stop Method
In this one-off class, students will practise using a written method for division when dividing by one or two-digit numbers. Modelling and step-by-step explanations will secure their understanding.

During this Maths session, I will model the bus stop method dividing a 3-digit number by a 1-digit number. Students who are beginners for this method are welcome, however, it helps that the children have a good understanding of the concept of division and know many of their times tables. (To support themselves with the multiplication questions, I recommend that students have a multiplication table / times table square beside them.)
