This cameras on, mic unmuted interactive class will cover the formula used to create award winning and memorable speeches. I will cover the essential ingredients of a great speech and also give delivery suggestions. We will get right into the parts of a speech, why they are important and how to craft them in a way that is purpose oriented. You will learn how to craft and deliver a powerful speech. Maybe you want a raise in allowance, You have a birthday party coming up and want to present a plan to make it happen. Maybe you have to do a oral report and want to ace it. This class will help you build from scratch a powerful presentation, start to finish.
I have been a member of Toastmaster International for over ten years. I have a education in radio and television announcing. During the last ten years I have given over one hundred presentations and just as many evaluations. I have competed in the international speech contest.
Please download and print out the Handouts. If you have time to review, that would be great and help to get more done in class if you have at least a quick familiarization with the speech formula.
3 files available upon enrollmentThere are two one page handouts. Please feel free to download and print if possible by each learner/parent prior to class. I will also be screen sharing. They are free to copy for later use.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
