Using the Orton Gillingham and Montessori approaches, this activity filled class focuses on phonics. Students will have a better understanding of the sounds that make up words, to be able to read and spell with more confidence.

Class Experience
Certified Elementary Teacher Montessori Certification - ages 6-12 Master's in Education Orton Gillingham Certification
1. Notebook with wide-ruled lined paper 2. Pencil with an eraser 3. Coin (for heads and tails) 4. 2 regular dice
During the course of each class, I will continually assess each child and proceed as necessary for each. I feel that good communication is key, so I will be sure to reach out to parents with any concerns I may have, and am happy to talk to parents if any questions or concerns arise.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
