Description
Class Experience
During this ongoing class students will practice strategies, learn songs, and play games to work on mastering their multiplication facts. We will interact with one another during this class through zoom using google slides, nearpod, kahoot, and more! Anything printable will be sent/posted prior to the meeting time. I would encourage all learners to have a set of multiplication flash cards to practice with throughout the course at home in between classes. Class schedule: 5 min - opening and...
Students will gain confidence in reciting and understanding multiplication facts. Mastering facts 0-10 is the goal for all learners. -understanding of multiplying at adding groups -strategies for facts -practice and repetition -technology based activities for multiplication mastery -using drawings and arrays when multiplying
Licensed K-6 Teacher and Certified Reading Specialist
No homework is assigned, but practicing facts is encouraged. Each week, students will have a fact fluency help sheet that can be found on the classroom page.
White board and dry erase marker and eraser. Other resources will be found on the classroom page.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
