During this ongoing class students will practice strategies, learn songs, and play games to work on mastering their multiplication facts. We will interact with one another during this class through zoom using google slides, nearpod, kahoot, and more! Anything printable will be sent/posted prior to the meeting time. I would encourage all learners to have a set of multiplication flash cards to practice with throughout the course at home in between classes. Class schedule: 5 min - opening and ice breaker 15 min - specific fact focus 10 min - game/interactive learning The classes will not build upon each other, so learners can jump in at any time. The following will be guidelines for the facts that will be focused on during each session. Week 1 - 0, 1, and 2 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Week 3 - 3 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Week 3 - 4 -5 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Week 4 - 6 - 7 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Week 5 - 8 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Week 6 - 9 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Week 7 - 10 - 11 Fact Focus with mixed fact practice and games! Learning Goals
Students will gain confidence in reciting and understanding multiplication facts. Mastering facts 0-10 is the goal for all learners.
