In this course, we will get together and play a variety of games on the Gimkit platform to increase mastery of multiplication tables.  Some of the games are cooperative where the entire group will be working together towards a common goal, and some of the games are a team or one on one competitive nature.  As an instructor, I play along with the students and help teach them how to play each game as well as support them in their math learning journey.   I am a strong believer that mastery of multiplication facts makes future math acquisition much easier.  I love to make math fun and I have a lot of experience working with struggling learners - your child does not need to know their multiplication facts to benefit from this course, but knowing a few will help them build confidence to gain the rest throughout game play.

There are no supplies needed, however a student will have an easier time playing if they have access to one device for the zoom and a second for the game.  Gimkit can be played on any internet capable device such as a cell phone or a tablet as well as a computer.
