Teacher Kelly is not associated with Nintendo in any way (though she's been a loving Nintendo customer for over 20 years!!) - She has no connection to Nintendo or Animal Crossing, this class topic is her idea, played on Nintendo's Animal Crossing Game. Animal Crossing is supported by this class because all students must have downloaded the game to play (therefore they've bought a Nintendo and the game) and students are encouraged to get the online subscription as well so that they can go visit each other on the other islands.
Students need to have:
- A charged Nintendo Switch
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons Game (setup & established with an island/character)
- the online Nintendo membership to visit other islands on A.C.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We understand that private servers are important for educators to help keep our Learners safe while enjoying their online gameplay, and that gamer tags may be necessary to join those private servers. Please be sure to keep the following in mind as well:
-Have learners or parents message gamer tags directly through a private message
-Never allow learners to share their gamer tags in the classroom page (this means deleting comments from learners that do)
We use the game Animal Crossing: New Horizons + the online Nintendo Account
