Use the winter coupon code BETHAQHFOV27 to get $27 (about 50% off) off this course! In this 8-week self-paced course, students will have a blast playing several games and activities while strengthening foundational skills such as analysis, deduction, inference, decoding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and linking. Critical thinking is a crucial life skill we all need. But we need these reasoning skills now more than ever. Make it easier for your child to swim through the sea of misinformation in the world by mastering these foundational skills - it is vital to their success as they grow into amazing adults. Although this class is for second and third-graders, it can truly be accessed by any student who needs their critical thinking skills strengthened. With over 500 task cards, students can complete as many or as little task cards as they need to master these skills. Students can even come back over the year to complete them over time and keep their skills sharp. 🤓 SKILLS LEARNED: ~critical thinking ~deduction ~inferences ~identifying patterns ~extracting information ~linking words and ideas ~analyzing situations and data ~decoding ~problem-solving 🤓 SKILLS REQUIRED: ~reading ~typing 🤓 Each week narrows in on one aspect of a foundational critical thinking skill. First, students will watch a teacher instruction video to review how to complete the activities along with several examples provided. After instruction, most activities are in a task card format with areas to type in answers. Digital task cards are the best format for topics that don't have exact answers - students are using their own thinking skills after all! 🤓 Students can opt to share the file with the teacher to get feedback and will be shown how to share the work they've completed. Teacher responds as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours. Love, Teacher Bethanie
