During this 8-week course, your elementary or middle school student will learn to write four essay types; narrative, persuasive, opinion, and informative. Students will learn from my modeled teaching how to complete each one.
Class Experience
US Grade 5 - 8
In this eight-week writing course, I will teach your learner how to write state approved 3-5 paragraph essays. We will learn how to write four essay types; informative, persuasive, narrative, and opinion. We will utilize the writing process to draft an essay, followed by editing and revising to create the perfect piece. Each essay type will consist of two weeks of classes. - Students will learn to write four different 3-5 paragraph essays. Your student will learn the qualities of a well-developed essay. Writing is a lifelong skill that students will acquire in this course.

Please bring something to write with to class. It can be paper and pencil or a device to type on. The information given in class will be accessible to review on the classroom page.
