They’ll learn how to brainstorm ideas, organize their thoughts, and use writing techniques like descriptive language, proper structure, and grammar to craft compelling pieces. We’ll cover essential writing elements such as developing strong introductions, building coherent paragraphs, and crafting impactful conclusions. Depending on the learner’s focus, topics may also include character development, persuasive techniques, or using evidence to support ideas. I will use Common Core Standards based on the learners grade to insure appropriate topics are covered. Each session will include a brief introduction to the topic, guided practice, and independent work time. Learners will receive direct feedback on their work and engage in fun, interactive activities to reinforce the day’s lesson. I use a mix of teaching tools like interactive slides, short video clips, and live demonstrations to make learning dynamic and engaging. Learners will also have opportunities to participate in creative games and guided discussions that make writing fun and approachable. My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and tailored to each learner. I focus on building confidence and creativity, encouraging learners to express themselves while providing constructive feedback in a positive, growth-oriented way. Learners will have consistent 1-on-1 interaction throughout each session. They’ll participate in discussions, ask questions, and receive personalized feedback on their work. Our sessions will feel like a collaborative journey where we explore writing together.
