In this course that meets for five weeks, learners will learn dances and songs from Mary Poppins!
Class Experience
Over the course of five weeks, students will learn the choreography, as well as music, from the hit movie "Mary Poppins" The songs that we will be learning and focusing on are: "Jolly Holiday," "Step in Time," and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" Through the dances, students will learn about character work and acting while dancing, and will also create their own character in the world of Mary Poppins! Practicing each day!
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Safety and privacy are at the top of my priorities. This is a very active class so please make sure you have an ample amount of space to move, as well as proper footwear, and a water bottle. We will have an extensive warm-up as part of the class to reduce the risk of any bodily injuries. Injuries can occur if not careful or properly supervised.
