In an interactive one-time course, learners will analyze poetry, study the history of Mary Tudor, and determine whether she truly deserves the nickname "Bloody Mary," then write their own poems to describe her life.

Class experience

Learners will be able to draw conclusions and support their arguments with evidence.
I have been studying the stories of the Tudor family since I was in elementary school. It is my favorite history topic and I'm excited to share what I know!

The story of Mary I contains infidelity, miscarriage, torture, and violence. We will not go into detail about any of these aspects of the story, but they will be mentioned and possibly discussed.
