In this class, learners will enjoy listening to stories based on Martin Luther King Jr.'s life. Learners will discover the great impact he had on the world and why we choose to celebrate him each year. Some stories will also introduce what the Civil Rights movement is and why it is so important. I look forward to celebrating this special day with you! Some of the books that might be read include: Happy Birthday, Martin Luther King by Jean Marzollo, I Am Martin Luther King Jr. by Brad Meltzer, This Is the Rope by Jacqueline Woodson

Hello! My name is Anne and I am so excited for the opportunity to meet you. I teach classes ranging from Physical Education, general exercise, and also early childhood skills. I have been a Physical Education teacher to grades PK-5th for 9 years. I earned my Bachelor's in Physical Education (K-12) and my Master's in Special Education (K-12). I also have 3 years experience of ESL teaching online. As a teacher, I like to look for creative ways to bring out the best in all of my students. I believe that every student is capable of so much more than they can imagine once they are provided with the right learning approach for them. In my free time I enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my husband and daughter, as well as cooking new, tasty recipes!
