Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn proper warmup and stretching as well as effective beathing methods. Students will gain a stronger understanding of how to use martial arts techniques to augment their fitness routine.
Master Mark Tan is a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do with 20 years of experience teaching students ages 5-70. *2014 Illinois State gold medalist *1999 Open Karate tournament champion (lightweight) *1999 Open Karate tournament champion (heavyweight) *2011-2022 Sparring Team coach
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students must wear comfortable clothes suitable for exercise (ideally workout clothes). An area large enough for the student to perform stretches/kicking and moving around without any tripping hazards or breakable objects nearby will also be needed.
