This is a marketing and advertising course for kids aged 6-10+. It covers topics such as product development, branding, logo design, commercial creation, digital and print advertising, consumer behavior, and ethical marketing practices. The class consisting of lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. The teaching style is interactive and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for learners to interact with the teacher and each other. No prior experience or knowledge is required to enroll in this course. Week 1 - Introduction to Marketing and Advertising Understanding what marketing and advertising are and their importance in the business world Learning about the different types of advertising, such as print, radio, television, and online ads Introduction to basic marketing concepts, such as target audience, brand, and messaging Week 2 - Creating a Product Identifying what makes a product successful and the steps involved in creating one Brainstorming ideas for a product and developing a prototype Exploring the importance of branding and packaging in making a product stand out Week 3 - Designing a Logo Understanding the role of a logo in a brand's identity Learning about the principles of design and how to create a logo that is memorable and recognizable Hands-on practice in designing a logo for a brand or product Week 4 - Understanding Your Audience Learning about the importance of knowing your target audience in advertising Understanding consumer behavior and how it influences advertising strategies Conducting research to understand your audience and their needs and preferences
