This one-time course will introduce students to the world of marketing! The focus will be on basic marketing concepts, including the four P’s and SWOT analyses. Class discussion with brainstorming sessions will be included in this class, but no previous marketing knowledge is required. There will also be a short game involved as an ice breaker, so students should be ready for class time with their thinking caps on! There is no prior work required and there will be no homework for this course, but the 45 minutes will be packed with great information, so note taking is encouraged!
Learning Goals
Students will come away with an example SWOT analysis (great if they already have a business!) and a firm grasp of the Four P's!

Hello! I am a college professor and entrepreneur who loves helping people exceed their educational, personal, and professional goals! I have taught business courses at a few different colleges and I mentor high school seniors through the Tennessee Achieves program. I just absolutely love to teach and to see children and adults grow through education.
My husband and I live in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee with our soon-to-be six kiddos (17, 16, 15, and 5-year-old girls, a 12-year-old boy and we have another little man on the way!), our dog and our cat. In my spare time I love reading and going to the racetrack!
