Mario Math Memory Game Addition! Level 1! Lets-A-Go!

In this one-time class students will take turns playing a Mario memory math game while also learning/practicing/reviewing simple addition problems up to 10. While individually taking turns to identify pairs and solve each equation, students will also work together to solve the math problems that accompany each image.  Each student will have multiple turns during the game and multiple games may be played as time permits. This class is great for students who love Mario and all of his friends (and a couple enemies too!)


My class setting is a relaxed, fun, open space for students to be able to discuss and express their thoughts about what we are learning. I encourage student interaction with not only myself but with their fellow classmates. Everyone is expected to be respectful and listen to one another but also feel like they have the ability to share their own thoughts and opinions. I believe learning should be fun and try to provide a space for that to happen.
