In this one-time class students will take turns playing a Mario memory math game while also learning/practicing/reviewing simple addition problems up to 10. While individually taking turns to identify pairs and solve each equation, students will also work together to solve the math problems that accompany each image. Each student will have multiple turns during the game and multiple games may be played as time permits. This class is great for students who love Mario and all of his friends...
Students will learn/practice/review math problems up to 10 while also flexing their memory muscles. They will learn how to encourage each other and how to participate in team based problem solving. They will also be able to share to the group about their favorite characters and/or games enhancing their group speaking skills.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
