Does your kid love Mario? Do you want them to get some extra practice in math? Well, then this is the perfect class for your child! For this class, your child needs to have a basic understanding of adding and subtracting. We will be adding/subtracting numbers greater than 20. There will be mainly borrowing and carrying problems! This class is designed to give students extra practice with borrowing and carrying we will be working with two, three, and four-digit numbers. In this class, your student will help Mario and his friends solve different problems. They will count characters and items from Mario. We will also be doing adding and subtracting. Your student will practice greater than and less than by counting different Mario characters and figuring out which is more.

Supply List
No supplies are required, but if your child is a hands on learner, or likes to writing having paper and a pencil is nice so they can practice borrowing/carrying on their own paper. However, it is not required, and most of the time we will do it on the screen together!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello and welcome to my page! I teach many classes such as math tutoring, Reading, and English Language Arts. There are a different math classes I plan on teaching so please stay tuned for more! As far as experience goes, I have taught English online for one year, and I have taught social studies, careers, and health at the high school level for one year. I have also been teaching math online for almost a year. I have a deep passion for knowledge and I want to share that passion with others. That is why I believe learning should be fun and engaging.
