If you're already familiar with Scratch and love racing games, this class is tailor-made for you! You'll learn how to create your very own Mario Kart-style racing game in Scratch. Become a Game Pro: You'll become a game-making pro as you design and build your very own Mario Kart racing game. You'll code everything, from the tracks to the racers! Supercharge Your Coding Skills: You'll be in charge of your coding actions and choose what gets to happen with each sprite in the race. Race to Glory: You can design a multi-player game with crazy obstacles, power-ups, and challenges. You'll even code the speed and power of your vehicles! Customize Your Kart: Express your creativity by customizing your in-game character and kart. Make them uniquely yours with custom designs and abilities. Compete and Cooperate: Race against your fellow coding champs or team up for multiplayer fun! Challenge each other's games, share tips, and have a blast learning together. **This coding project is for intermediate learners, however, it can be simplified for those who are just beginning on Scratch. The student will be given a template to work form, this will be provided by the teacher.

I have completed my bachelors degree with Education and I am a certified TESOL teacher. I have been teaching online for over 6 years. I teach both English as a Second Language and Creative Digital Skills. I have taught students of all ages from 3-17 years old.
I love to teach ESL classes that focus on building conversation skills and confidence.
