In this one-time class, learners will learn from a live Marine Biologist, with an introduction of the San Francisco Bay. Throughout the course, we will ask students to make and share their observations. Our experienced Marine Education Staff will guide students through the experience leading the students virtual exploration. We will cover the estuarine habitat and the adaptations these animals have to thrive in the Bay. We will review the general external adaptations of the organisms, and...
At the end of this course, students will be able to: -Identify key features of the San Francisco Bay habitat -Identify invertebrates of the San Francisco Bay habitat -Identify invertebrate adaptations critical to survival in the San Francisco Bay habitat -Demonstrate understanding of the lesson
No homework is assigned. Students should have print the worksheet prior to class or use a pad of paper with drawing utensils to document their observations.
