In this class we will explore the weird and wonderful world of our oceans bats, zombies, ghosts, devils, goblins, vampires In this one-time class we will study the bats, zombies, ghosts, devils, goblins and vampires of the ocean - we'll call them marine monsters for fun, but really, there are no monsters - just amazing adaptations for living in some of the harshest environments. As well as some favourites like vampire squid, anglerfish and goblin sharks we will learn about stargazers,...
Students will learn the anatomy and behaviour of some of the deep sea creatures and those with fascinating and unusual adaptations.
WiseOceans is a marine education and conservation company that has been providing virtual and in-person marine education for around ten years. All our marine educators/marine biologists have experience in the field as well as teaching experience.
There is an optional worksheet for further research and learning.
