Explore some of the most fascinating and unique creatures swimming in the world's oceans today!
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 7
In this class, students will learn about specific species of fish in Earth's oceans and some of their unique adaptations. In addition to each fish being studied, a related oceanographic or biological concept will be discussed. The class will be taught with a guided presentation for the majority of the class session. At the end of the class, a video of the fish in the wild will be shown and there will be time for discussion and questions. There is a set number of topics that will be taught...
Over the course of this class, students will learn about specific species of fish swimming in the world's oceans and other bodies of water. Students will learn about unique traits and adaptations that these fish bear. Students will also learn about related oceanographic and biological concepts to provide a fuller understanding of marine ecosystems.
