Marine Biology Bonus 8 Weeks - Summer Camp

40 weeks is just about all we could squeeze into a full year course. But our workbook contains so many awesome marine animals and there are still eight more we will not get done. Enrollment in this class gives students who wish to finish the workbook the opportunity to do so, with room to adjust their schedules around summer activities, vacations, etc.

As always, my classes are not a slideshow lecture. I use pictures, models, google maps, and games to teach. Students can draw or write the information given and I provide a whiteboard for them to copy from, as needed. With collaborative projects such as comic creation, and guess in 10 games, students will look forward to coming to class!

Each week we will cover one species "animal facts" & "research and discoveries" page and as time allows, games, art, or a language arts page. This workbook is an amazing resource and worthwhile investment that provides many weeks of learning. It is packed with visuals, room to doodle, and copy work, allowing every student to be successful. After completion of this course, there will still be a few animals left in the workbook for your student to complete independently, if they wish. It's a big workbook!

There will be no graded assignments. Homeschoolers, unschoolers, and afterschoolers are all welcomed! Our handbook provides hands-on structure and encourages reluctant learners who are curious about ocean animals to sharpen all of their skills.
