Marine Biologist Training Course (ages 4-6) During this class, students will learn what a typical day in the life of a marine biologist is like. We will discuss the different species that marine biologists work with, what each of those animals is fed each day, the responsibilities the marine biologist has for caring and maintaining a safe and clean environment for the sea life and how marine biologists educate visitors about the creatures and their natural habitats. As the teacher, I will take the students on a guided "virtual" aquarium tour. Math will be incorporated into the lesson by counting the fish at each stop during the tour. Spelling will also be included by each student practicing spelling their own names with their "official" aquarium name tags.

My areas of expertise are communications and public speaking, but I love teaching science and animal related courses and helping students work on their reading skills. I currently travel around the country doing test prep classes for high school students.
I also have a passion for teaching younger students how to read. I have my ESL certification, a BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee and a MA in Business Management from Tusculum University.
