This is Part 1 of the Marine Animal Research, Draw and Present (RDP) Series. However learners can take each part in any order as they do not build on each other. No background experience with marine biology is necessary for this class. In this course, learners will research two marine animals and draw and prepare a presentation on one of them. Some of the information that learners will research and learn on each marine animal includes: What is its common and scientific name? Where is it currently found/distribution and habitat? What are some of its physical characteristics? How does it behave? Research questions for each marine animals will be provided via a Google Document to work on during class. The discussion for each marine animal is going to be based on the learner's in class research. Learners will prepare a presentation using Google Slides with the guidance of the instructor.
