Welcome to our March Circle Time! In these classes, learners will participate in four, fun-filled classes that revolve around the theme of March. Weekly circle times will include: a welcome song, a weekly theme, and focus on various life skills. Skills covered will include: counting, identifying colors and shapes, creating patterns, discussing the weather, and being introduced to a calendar. Some weeks will include a read-aloud book. Learners will be involved by answering questions, counting aloud, singing songs, joining in movement to songs and rhymes, and playing games. The schedule will be built around the following themes: Week One: Kites Week Two: Rainbows Week Three: St. Patrick's Day Week Four: Spring is Here! My teaching style is fun and engaging. I believe that all children can learn and I strive to have them all actively participate in class. These circle times are a great way to introduce your learner to the online format and give them the ability to socialize and interact with others.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the month of March. Skills covered will include: counting, calendar knowledge, patterns, colors, and social interaction.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Mrs. Denise and I love words! As a current preschool teacher and a former high school English teacher, I have watched the magical process of word and sentence formation from little ones to essay writing and development of critical communication skills from older learners. It's all exciting to witness and nurture!
My teaching career spans twenty years and a variety of settings including a traditional classroom, the online classroom, and a life skills learning facility. I've had the honor of working with a broad age range of learners and know first-hand that each child is unique and has something to offer in the classroom. While structure is important, a student-centered environment helps learners to connect what's being taught to their own lives.
While I'm not teaching, I enjoy writing and fulfilling one of life's best roles....Mom to my three boys! Welcome to my classroom!
