Oh no! Mrs. Summits' class guinea pig, Maple, has escaped her cage overnight to embark on a marvelous adventure around the school. Your learner will solve a series of puzzles to crack a code revealing her final location the next morning. In Task #1, the learner will piece together a picture puzzle to obtain a clue. In Task #2, the learner will work through several multiplication word problems and solve a code with their answers. In Task #3, the learner will solve basic multiplication facts and add up their products to obtain a total. In Task #4, the learner will solve basic multiplication facts to uncover a picture clue. In Task #5, the learner will use basic multiplication facts and the corresponding numbers to the letters of the alphabet to obtain a clue. In Task #6, the learner will play a Blooket to practice their multiplication facts. This activity is designed to support and encourage basic fact fluency in multiplication.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to use basic multiplication facts to solve puzzles and crack a code as a review of previously learned concepts.
