Attention all Bubble Tea lovers! I'm sure that many of you have had Bubble Tea more than a few times! So are you ready to try something new? Let's bring 2 of my favorite drinks together! As per request by a student, I have created this class for those who are ready to take the next step in combining 2 popular drinks, Bubble Tea and Mango Slush! If you have taken my "Popular Taiwanese Drink: Let's Make Boba Bubble Tea", you will know how easy it is to make Boba. In this class, we will work as a team and go through the recipe together! Through clear step-by-step instructions, I will be guiding the entire team in creating our own Mango Slushy Bubble Tea masterpieces. This class will allow students to practice important kitchen skills such as using a stove to boil the Boba, as well as using a blender to make the Mango Slush. Previous knowledge in the kitchen would be beneficial since there will be a few different tasks to complete in order to make this drink. If you don't have too much kitchen experience but would really love to take this class, just have a parent nearby in case you need a helping hand. If you are as crazy about mango drinks as I am, I know you will really love this class!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to make a delicious Mango Slush Bubble Tea. They will learn and practice using a stove and a blender safely in the kitchen. Students will also learn how to read and follow a recipe precisely. They will all have opportunities to ask productive questions on the recipe as they go along. In the end, students will have an opportunity to take photos of their drinks before having them.

Parental Guidance
A good understanding of health and safety procedures in the kitchen are essential for this class. Students will need to know how to operate their own blender, so it would be great if parents are within close proximity to assist if needed. I will be going over how to use a blender in class but of course every student will have a slightly different type of blender, so it would be really helpful if parents can show the learners how to use their own blender safely before the class starts.
*Please have condensed milk poured out in a bowl / container before the start of class. Edges of the cans are sharp, so students may need some assistance before the start of class.
**Parents, please review all the ingredients that will be used in this course before taking the class. If there are any allergies and food intolerance, please send me an email for alternative options or substitutes.
Supply List
*A one page recipe hand-out will be given to students 24 hours before the start of class. Please print it out and have it available for students to read and follow instructions. Ingredients: - A can of condensed milk - A bag of frozen mangoes - Your choice of liquid (Mango Nectar or Orange juice for a fruitier taste, milk for a creamier texture, or water for a healthier option) - Honey - BOBA (Tapioca balls) It can be found at most local Asian supermarkets or you can find it on Amazon. *I recommend using the brand 'Wu Fu Yuan'. They can be made in less than 5 minutes Cooking Utensils: - Medium sized pot and lid - Blender / Jug (to make smoothie) - Measuring cups - Tasting spoon (used to put toppings into final drink) - 2 bowls (small to medium bowls to hold toppings) - A bubble tea straw (thicker straw) - Preferably a tall and clear cup / or mason jar works (We will decorate our drink at the end, so it would be nice for presentation) **Optional** Please have your phone camera ready if you would like to take a picture of the final drink because it will look amazing!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I currently own 2 juice and smoothie businesses and have been operating for 5 years now. I also work at both locations, so I am very familiar with all areas of this space. We have done many catering events for local schools and sporting teams, so I have had so much great feedback from kids on what they like to drink. In my experience, all people (not just kids) enjoy drinking smoothies.
