Storytime is always a great way to introduce the language to the learners, especially for the young ones. The main purpose of this ongoing story time club is to make Mandarin one part of their daily life. Every month we will have a cultural/seasonal topic, for example, “Chinese New Year” for January, “Back to School” for September…. We meet up once a week and during the 45min class, we usually start the lesson from 1 or 2 stories which could be picture book, video clip or a piece of news....
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
