This class is taught in Mandarin Chinese.
I am a native Chinese speaker and have taught Chinese for over ten years from kindergarten to adult learners. I am a certified teacher with experience working at a Chinese immersion school. Throughout my career, I have taught Chinese I, II, III, IV, AP, and business Chinese. I have a master's degree in education. I have been using student-centered learning, and I teach language within the culture through art, history, and food. I would like to share my methods of teaching the Chinese language to children through fun, play, and association.
Students will be given worksheets and practice games to review these materials. Students are encouraged to complete a project to share in class to apply what they have learned.
The assessment will be the worksheet and class project.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
