This class is Chinese Conversation with Games and Music Level 1 E. Students will be able to sing some Chinese songs, write some Chinese characters and learn Chinese through music and games!  Students can have a conversation on fruit, zoo animals, Chinese food, and festival. We will continue to build up words and phrases from the level 1 series. This is NOT a Chinese immersion class.
There are a variety of games we will play in class to help your child learn Chinese in an interactive and fun way. 

Students will learn these topics on vocabulary words, music, stories and apply them in their conversation. Students are encouraged to do a presentation in class to apply what they have learned. Students will be given worksheets and practice games to review these materials.
I am a native Chinese speaker and have taught Chinese for over ten years from kindergarten to adult learners. I have found teaching using strategies that employ multiple intelligences is the key to learning. In my classrooms, students learn through visual, music, language, and kinetic movements. Through using multiple intelligence strategies, students are engaged and it makes learning fun and more effective.
