In this 1:3 fun and interactive tutoring class with a Minecraft theme! Students will learn Chinese through games and music and students are encouraged to complete a treasure map or maze to share in class. Materials and practice games will be shared in our classroom!

This is Chinese with games and music level 1B class. Students will be able to have a conversation about colors, farm animals, movements, and directional words. Students also will be to explain the location of something and ask others what they like and dislike. Students will be able to sing some Chinese songs, write some Chinese characters, and share their projects. This class is taught in Mandarin Chinese.
Students will learn vocabulary words and sentence structures and apply them in their conversations. They will also learn how to pronounce the words and learn the meaning of the words. Students will engage in conversations, provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions in Chinese.
I am a native Chinese speaker and have taught Chinese for over ten years from kindergarten to adult learners. I am a certified teacher with experience working at a Chinese immersion school. Throughout my career, I have taught Chinese I, II, III, IV, AP and business Chinese. I have a master's degree in education.
Students will be given worksheets to review the material.
The assessment will be the worksheet and the practice in class. Students are encouraged to complete a treasure map project to share in class to apply what they have learned.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
