This is a fun and interactive Chinese language small group class with a Mario theme. Students will learn Chinese through games and music!
Class experience
This class is for students who have no background or very little background in Chinese. There is no prior knowledge needed for this class. This is NOT a Chinese immersion class. Students will be able to sing some Chinese songs, write some Chinese characters, and can ask others what they like and dislike. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn these topics on vocabulary words, sentence structures and apply them in their conversation. They will also know how to pronounce the words and know the meaning of the words. Students will engage in conversations, provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions in Chinese.
I am a native Chinese speaker and have taught Chinese for over ten years from kindergarten to adult learners. I am a certified teacher with experience working at a Chinese immersion school. Throughout my career, I have taught Chinese I, II, III, IV, AP and business Chinese. I have a master's degree in education.
Homework Offered
Students will also receive worksheets, exercises Quizlet flashcards, and interactive practice games links throughout our lesson. Interactive practice games include matching games, Whack a mole, guess the words and etc.Assessments Offered
