I am a native Chinese speaker and have taught Chinese for over ten years from kindergarten to adult learners. I am a certified teacher with experience working at a Chinese immersion school. Throughout my career, I have taught Chinese I, II, III, IV, AP and business Chinese. I have a master's degree in education. I have been using student-centered learning, and I teach language within the culture through art, history, and food. I would like to share my methods of teaching the Chinese language to children through fun, play, and association.
Students will be given worksheets to review these materials. I design my own curriculum and make games packets of worksheets and games for my students. They can print the material and use the game links to review it. The material will be shared in our class and students can download or print if they would like. There are a variety of games we will play in class to help your child learn Chinese in an interactive and fun way.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The assessment will be the worksheet and the practice in class. Students are encouraged to complete a family tree project to share in class to apply what they have learned.
