Students will learn intermediate level Mandarin Chinese (specifically HSK 3). Essential points will be learned by cultural settings and stories for everyday life. I have taken Mandarin courses for a few years in university as well as have lived and worked in mainland China. I have always loved and respected Chinese culture.
Students are encouraged to create sentences using key vocabulary and grammar points listed for every meeting. A printable hanzi (Chinese character) grid is available as an attachment for students to either write their own sentences, practice key vocabulary or both!
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
