***NOTE*** If your student has not yet learned the pinyin alphabet it would be helpful for them to do a pinyin class, I offer one called "Mandarin Chinese Conversation Camp: Pt. 0 Pinyin". It is not required but having a solid foundation in pinyin will help make this and other Chinese classes easier.***end note*** Students will learn the basics of Chinese pronunciation and grammar as well as have ample opportunity to practice what they are learning on a daily basis. Students will use everyday situations from the Lexicarry book as well as custom made conversation trees to learn how to talk about real life things in preparation for speaking Chinese to real Chinese people. We will also learn a Chinese song and how to sing it. Each week we will also have culture Friday where we learn something new about Chinese culture.
