Description

Class Experience

1. Students will learn how to ask and answer "Have you eaten" a common Chinese greeting and conversation topic
2. Students will learn how to sing a Chinese song
3. Students will learn the basics of Pinyin.
4. Students will learn 4 parts of Chinese culture that will hopefully surprise them
I lived in China for 4 years and my wife is Chinese. I have an HSK4 level of Chinese and have been tutoring/teaching Chinese since 2014. 
Students will watch short videos practicing their phrases and words.
Students will watch the song each day and practice with it.
Whiteboards will be posted after most classes. Students can print those out or parents/kids can take notes in class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will send in the video of them singing the song(don't worry it doesn't need to be perfect!)
Students will have a conversation with the teacher at least once a week with the little Chinese they know.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
