Description
Class Experience
Ms. Teyen has been a Mandarin Chinese teacher since 2015. She is currently a private Chinese teacher and tutor to elementary and high school students. She has designed her own curriculum for students as young as 3-year-olds to 13 years old.
Homework assignments will be completed individually in this 8-week course. They will have a reading and writing practice worksheet to do every week after a class is done. The worksheet can be done in about an hour each week. If the student chooses to do their own reviewing, then it is encouraged to at least review the course materials at least an hour a day.

Informal assessment will be done every time we meet. A slideshow with some review questions will be presented at the beginning of each class and students are required to answer them. On our last day together, a final quiz will be given. Then a short story project to be shared with each other using all the vocabulary words that are learned in this 8-week course.
