This is an on going Mandarin 1 Class. I will focus on student’s pronunciations, understand the meaning of the characters, and we will also learn some basic sentence structures.

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner Level
💡Class format will be as follows: ~10 min Greeting and Characters study. ~20 min Reading and sentence structure study. ~10 min Practice choose from listening, reading comprehension, and writing. ⭐⭐Class will require a minimum of 2 learners to proceed. Student will learn at least 250 characters by the end of the course. Student can use their knowledge to ask and answer simple questions in Mandarin. Student will have the knowledge of basic Chinese sentence structure.
I am currently a World Language Teacher at my local high school. I grew up in China with Chinese being my first language. Then I moved to the US I earned my B.A. in Chinese. During college, I participated in the Chinese-American essay contest on Chinese History and Culture and won the Honorable Mention. I also won 2nd place on the 31st Chinese Speech Contest.
