In this 6- lesson session, students will be able to explore Chinese character components/radicals & common characters and find their relations, learn to write Chinese, and read the characters. Get your child fall in love with 汉字!
Class Experience
Chinese characters, also known as Hanzi (漢字) are one of the earliest forms of written language in the world, dating back approximately five thousand years. These characters are not only a language but also an art form, deeply rooted in Chinese culture.But do you know Chinese characters are actually related? For example, 女 (female) component can be found in a lot of characters. 她 (she), 妈(mom)，姑(aunt)，奶(grandma-Dad's mom)，姥(grandma-mom's mom)，etc. In our 30-minute lessons, I will focus on...
- Students will be able to identify, read and write component 汉字部首 related characters as well as see the relations among these characters.
The teacher is able to do Chinese handwriting very nicely.
