In this class, the learners will learn about manatees. We will begin class by discussing what the students know about manatees. Then the students will be able to learn about the different kinds of manatees. A slide presentation will be used to present and discuss the information throughout the class. The students will learn about manatee habitats, their babies, what they eat, and find their homes on the map. They will also learn about why they are endangered. We will end the class by talking about what they learned about manatees.

I am a certified early childhood, elementary education, and reading specialist. I have been a teacher for over seventeen years. I have taught English as a second language for over six years. I love to use my degrees in psychology, history, political science, and biology to help students learn. I teach reading, ESL, history, and science classes. I think that students should have fun while learning. I love hockey and volunteering at the library and museum.
